The Town of Carrboro is offering an award of up to $1,000 to assist emerging young artists in developing their talent through a summer apprenticeship. Up to three (3) apprenticeships are available.
Eligibility:
Carrboro residents that are high school juniors and graduating high school seniors, as well as college students and those who have graduated from college within the last year.
Applicants must have a proven interest in the visual and/or performing arts and have secured an apprenticeship with a local artist or arts organization. The apprenticeship should be for at least 15 hours per week for at least 5 weeks.
