12th Annual Carrboro Film Festival

Film submissions are currently being accepted until September 29, 2017, and the early deadline is August 15, 2017.
Carrboro, NC (August 7, 2017) — Calling all filmmakers! The Carrboro Film Festival (CFF) is celebrating its 12th Anniversary this year, and is currently accepting film submissions. This exciting two-day film fest will be held at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro, North Carolina from November 18-19, 2017.
The Early Submission Deadline is August 15, 2017 for $10.00 USD. The Regular Submission Deadline is September 8, 2017 for $15.00 USD. The Extended Submission Deadline is September 29, 2017 for $25.00 USD. Filmmakers will be notified by October 15th if their film has been selected.
The Carrboro Film Festival will consider submissions of any film style or length. “All film genres are represented, including documentaries, dramas, comedies, animations, horror films, music videos, and love stories,” says Carrboro Film Festival co-founder Nic Beery. “Out of hundreds of entries, about 40 films will be shown during the festival weekend. The quality of the films is always outstanding!”
Films must be submitted exclusively through FilmFreeway with an online screener, and must have been completed after January 1, 2016. Films must also be available for screening during the Carrboro Film Festival, November 18-19, 2017.
The Carrboro Film Festival has grown to become the premiere festival in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Featuring world-class films of every length and genre, the CFF is known for packed houses and standing ovations. This two-day celebration of Film ART, NOT Film Business, is recognized by filmmakers the world over as a place to immerse themselves with like minded Film creators, creators of art in cinema. The Carrboro Film Festival is eclectic and powerful, humorous and moving.
A day pass is $15 and a two-day festival pass is just $20. Tickets will be available for purchase on October 18, 2017 and are being sold by the ArtsCenter online at http://artscenterlive.org and at the ArtsCenter box office.
