About the Applications
Carrboro GIS This is the main interactive Carrboro map.
Find Addresses This is a simple application where you can search for an address or a parcel owner and see the jurisdiction boundaries to check if the address is in Carrboro or not. The addresses include all Orange County addresses.
Zoning The Zoning Application includes an interactive Carrboro zoning map and information about the zones. Search for a zone and select the holink to obtain definitions, setbacks, and permitted uses.
Current Development Information about and locations for active development projects in Carrboro's planning jurisdiction. The current developments are points displayed in the zoning application.
CHCCS Schools The CHCCS application shows the current school districts in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS), with parcel and neighborhood information. You can search for an address within the school district.
Floodplain This application shows the current North Carolina Floodmapping floodplain and property lines, for determining whether a property is in the floodplain. You can search by address. The grey stripes are 100-year flood; the solid blue is floodway; the orange stripes are 500-year flood. You can also, in a separate application, examine the actual Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). The FIRMs can be printed on a large-format plotter as .pdfs; however, they do not show property lines.
