Carrboro Django Reinhardt Festival2026-03-20T20:00:00We are excited to announce the return of the 5th annual Carrboro Django Reinhardt Festival, March 20-22, 2026, at Cat's Cradle Back Room in Carrboro, NC!
With world-class performances, hands-on workshops, and community-driven jam sessions, the festival serves as both a celebration and a living tribute to the legendary Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, and his lasting influence on the world of music.
This year's festival features amazing artists from The Netherlands, Spain, Suisse, and the USA.

Chapel Hill Carrboro Crop Hunger Walk2026-03-22T13:30:00The 39th Annual Chapel Hill-Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026!
Walk registration begins at 1:30pm. Step off time is 2:30pm
Each year, congregations and organizations from Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Orange County come together to raise funds for programs that seek to eradicate hunger. Our goal is to raise $50,000.
The walk launches from the Carrboro Town Commons and winds along town streets and the UNC campus before returning to the Commons via the Libba Cotten Bike Path. The route is family and dog-friendly, measuring about three miles with a one-mile option. Come early to enjoy live music, food, UNC mascot Rameses and a Fleet Feet drawing!

From there, volunteers will be assigned to nearby cleanup locations to make a big impact together.
Whether you’re a longtime resident, a student, or just love spending time outdoors, this is a great way to give back, meet neighbors, and make a visible difference in our community.
